Volunteer with us

Volunteers are at the heart of Jeremiah’s Journey. Without them, we simply would not be able to help so many grieving children, young people and families through a very difficult and sad time in their lives.

Why volunteer at Jeremiah’s Journey?

Volunteering with us is about doing something rewarding to help grieving children and families in your local community to find their smiles again.

You will become part of a fun and inspiring network of friendly volunteers and be involved in an array of exciting activities. Whether you have a passion for events and fundraising, or would like to support the bereavement services team with group work, there are opportunities for you here at Jeremiah’s Journey.

You’ll get the opportunity to see how the charity sector operates while making a difference. In addition, you’ll be able to develop a wide variety of new skills that will look fantastic on your CV and help you stand out from the crowd.

What will I do as a volunteer?

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals who are reliable and enjoy working as part of a team. If you can spare a few hours when you can, or a day or more, we would be delighted to hear from you!

We have lots of fun, worthwhile and rewarding opportunities for volunteers including:

  • Delivering our range of bereavement services
  • Event support
  • Admin & Office support
  • Stall volunteers
  • Distributing & replacing collection tins
  • Bucket collection helpers
  • Jeremiah Bear minders
  • Group volunteers
  • Flyer distributors & much more…
