We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Services Design Solution UK, our lovely Millfields neighbours, who raised an incredible £2000 for us through organising a Charity Pub Quiz at The Mount Pleasant Pub recently.

It was a fantastic evening of delicious pub food, a raffle and 9 rounds of challenging questions, putting the general knowledge of 21 teams from the architect, engineering and construction industry to the test!

Team Jeremiah also took part and had a great evening, narrowly missing the Golden Plunger, the prize for last place! The end result was decided by a tie-breaker with Kendall Kingscott narrowly claiming the trophy from the Architects Design Group.

It was an enjoyable night had by all with the winning team holding their heads held high after earning themselves the Pub Quiz Champion Trophy!

The funds raised from the evening, from team entry, raffle tickets and collection buckets will help us to continue to support children, young people and their families who are experiencing the death or terminal illness of a loved one.

SDS aim to make this an annual event for industry companies to claim the Pub Quiz Champions trophy. Watch this space! …Who will receive the Golden Plunger next year!?
