2023 Plymouth Waterfront Partnership Community Hero

Professor Jacqui Stedmon - 2023 Plymouth Waterfront Partnership Community Hero.
Jane reaches new heights!

Jane Bryson made us all so proud when she reached Mount Everest Basecamp at the end of her self funded trek. Her photo, from 17,598ft, is small testament to the huge personal challenge she took on to fundraise for Jeremiah's Journey.
We are so in awe of her and inspired by her courage, strength and determination. Her fundraising will go along way to ensure we can continue supporting the bereaved children and young people who come to us.
Thank you Jane - Another every day hero making a huge difference!
Grace (and Jerry) do Spain!
Westcountry Women Awards 2023 - Women in Charity Nomination

We are thrilled that Professor Jacqui Stedmon, our co-founder and trustee, has received a nomination for the 'Women in Charity' category in this year's Westcountry Women Awards.
Jacqui's dedication, passion and commitment to the charity over the last three decades is both unrivalled and inspirational. As a team, we could not be more proud and believe her exceptionally worthy of this award.

We wish her every success.
NUDGE Community Builders' Summer pilot

At the start of August, we were delighted to welcome some young people as part of Nudge Community Builders pilot summer holiday program. The aim of the pilot is to grow greater awareness of key employment sectors across Plymouth, whilst raising aspirations.
The young people spent the day blending soft skill development with practical activities. They developed a greater insight into the roles and various expertise within our charity.
It was a pleasure to host these young people and answer their questions about who we are, what we do and what a career in charitable work looks like.
Folifest 2023 - Music and Family Fun Day
We were thrilled to be selected as the chosen charity at Folifest this year. The weather may have been against the bands and supporters but spirits remained high.
Jeremiah's Journey were welcomed by The King's Arms, The Queen's Arms and The Seven Stars Inn along with the wonderful community in Tamerton Foliot.
Jeremiah Bear joined in with dancing and playing the drums but did get a little soggy in the rain!
Our thanks to the team for allowing us to attend the event and for raising a phenomenal sum for our charity. Many bereaved children and young people will get much needed support thanks to your generosity.
Britain's Ocean City Running Festival 2023
We were fortunate to have several runners take part in the half marathon, 10k and 5k on 14th May 2023.
From experienced runners to children and young people who felt inspired to fundraise for Jeremiah's Journey to enable our vital work in the city to continue.
We are always so grateful when our community support us and the difference their fundraising makes is invaluable. Thank you to all!
