This morning, at 11 am, we were delighted to receive a cheque for £7448 from Austin Blackburn, Partner at Nash & Co, with colleagues Helen Bull, Karen Bussell, Hilary Cragg and Ian Veater (pictured left). The presentation took place at Nash & Co’s offices in Beaumont Park.
We were fortunate enough to be voted in as Nash & Co’s named Charity of the Year for 2013. Throughout the year, the firm hosted a variety of fundraising events including a golf day, sponsored walk, a Bake-Off competition, and the annual auction and raffle at the pre-Christmas Nash Bash.
Nash employees also participated in several sponsored sporting events over the year, from half marathons to abseiling, as well as making donations to us in lieu of Christmas Cards for colleagues.

We are so thankful to everyone at Nash & Co for their incredible support throughout 2013. The team worked so hard to raise such a significant amount and it has made a difference to local children and their families. Sadly our service will always be needed, which is why having support from local businesses and people is so important to us. We want to make sure we are there for every family who needs our support.
