Organise your own event

We really do rely on the wider community to support us through organising their own events, without them we wouldn’t be able to continue the work we do.

Why not organise your own fundraising event?

By giving up a little of your time, you could raise some vital funds for Jeremiah’s Journey. It’s also a fantastic way to make new friends, get involved in the community and it an be extremely rewarding. Anything and everything you can do, will make a difference.

We would love to hear about your event, regardless of how big or small. We have a selection of fundraising materials such as leaflets, posters and collection buckets, that may be of help, so please give us a call and tell us all about your plans. If we can, we would love to join you for the day too with a special appearance from Jeremiah Bear, or we can arrange a big cheque presentation afterwards. “My son went through the Group Programme and this made me want to organise a party to raise funds and give something back to Jeremiah’s Journey. On the night we had a small speech from Joanne and we had loads of games to raise extra pennies. The whole event was in memory of my husband, Chris. Our night was called ‘Party with the stars’ as that’s how the children remember their dad. All guests entered into the spirit of the evening by wearing fancy dress as their film idols. It was a fantastic night and I wouldn’t hesitate to organise another event in the future.”
