As a self-funded charity, we rely on donations and the generosity of our local businesses and community. Whilst this allows us to be creative in response to the needs of our community, it does not leave us with a long term stable base. We cannot grow and develop to our potential whilst our future remains uncertain.
Every penny raised makes a difference…
£5 could pay for a teddy bear which we give to every child who goes through the group programme
“I liked getting a teddy at the end of the group. I liked talking about things, this made me feel better”
Natalya
£8 could buy an information book to help a grieving family
£40 could pay for one child to enjoy a day at an adventure park after their group sessions end
£80 could pay for our team to provide help and support to any family that contacts us
(This covers approx. seven phone conversations)
£292 could pay for one child and their family to meet with a member of our team for individual or family sessions
£384 could pay for one bereaved child to go through our therapeutic group programme
£1152 could pay for one family (with three children) to go through the group programme together
Sadly our charity is always one that will be needed. We want to ensure that we can continue to provide the best service that we can to support children and families on a very difficult journey and give them the tools that they need to cope not just for now but for the future.
