As a self-funded charity, we rely on donations and the generosity of our local businesses and community. Whilst this allows us to be creative in response to the needs of our community, it does not leave us with a long term stable base. We cannot grow and develop to our potential whilst our future remains uncertain.
Every penny raised makes a difference…
£10 could pay for an information book to help a grieving family or a teddy bear, which we give to every child who goes through our group programme
£40 could pay for one child to enjoy a day at an adventure park after their group sessions end
£500 could pay for one bereaved child to go through our therapeutic group programme
Sadly our charity is always one that will be needed. We want to ensure that we can continue to provide the best service that we can to support children and families on a very difficult journey and give them the tools that they need to cope not just for now but for the future.
Your support would make a difference…
“When something like that happens you feel completely on your own, so finding people you can talk to is helpful and doing the activities, like learning the breathing and coping with your feelings, is huge”.
Anonymous, 2020
“My sons were referred to Jeremiah’s Journey when my dad died suddenly almost 20 years ago now, when the charity was just starting out. Absolutely brilliant service run by really caring and highly qualified bereavement counsellors”.
Tracey George, 2021
