We like to share what we have learnt from working with bereaved children and their families over the last 18 years as well as how we integrate the theories around grief into our work. We run our study days for professionals who may come in to contact with grieving children and their families.
Our aim is that through giving you: an understanding of the impact of the death of someone special on a child and family; an insight into how children might experience grief; and ideas of how to communicate and support bereaved children through the course of your own work, we will ensure that bereaved children will be supported in every area of their life.
Through sharing our knowledge and developing your skills and confidence, we believe together we can develop best practice in bereavement support.
Our next Study Day will be on Friday 7th November 2014 at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel, price is £50 per delegate and includes teas/ coffees and lunch. Please check out our events calendar for further details or contact us at info@jeremiahsjourney.org.uk to register your interest.
