We are delighted to announce that Paul Winterton, Managing Director at Langage Farm Dairy and his wife Jan, have signed up for the London to Paris Cycling Challenge in July to raise funds for Jeremiah’s Journey!
Paul, Managing Director at Langage Farm Dairy & his fantastic team have been working with Jeremiah’s Journey over the last 12 months. They have organised a range of fundraising activities and even launched a #FlavourFind competition across Plymouth Schools to find a new Yummy Frozen Yoghurt, that was sold at local Tesco stores to raise money for Jeremiah’s Journey.
The last two years have been very difficult for us, with family bereavements and scary health issues. We now want to focus all our efforts into something that is positive, to help regain our fitness whilst helping to make a difference in the local community!
They wanted to do something special this year and a bike ride from London to Paris just seemed perfect. After all, everyone wants to see the Eiffel tower in Paris, although most couples fly there rather than ride a bike.
Paul and Jan would love it if you could sponsor them on their Cycling Challenge to Paris. The couple will be cycling an incredible 299 miles over 4 days in July.
It won’t be easy, but it’ll be well worth raising funds to support local children and young people through a very difficult & sad time in their lives.
Their target is £3000 and donating will help them to make a difference to the lives of grieving children & young people in Plymouth & the immediate surrounding areas.
Help them smash their target by sponsoring them online through their Local Giving page.
We’d like to wish Paul & Jan the best of luck with their training!
