Langage Farm have presented us with their first cheque of funds, since announcing Jeremiah’s Journey as their chosen charity for this year! A cheque for £1,350 was raised and presented to Joanne Anning, our CEO, following a recent Sporting Dinner which was sponsored by Langage Farm.
“There were around 300 people at the event and as well as showing support for the Sporting Club, it was also a great networking event for local companies and a good way to raise awareness of the Club and what it does.”
This means so much to us and the local families that we support. Without this kind of help, we wouldn’t be able to continue to offer our service to those children who are facing a really sad time in their lives. We are so excited to be working closely with such a fantastic local business.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Langage Farm and are delighted to receive the money which will go towards providing therapeutic support to children and their families who have experienced or are anticipating the death of someone special. We use lots of creative resources to enable children to express their feelings and explore ways of coping.
This unique charity partnership working with Jeremiah’s Journey as our Charity of the Year really supports our staff members who want to help the local community. If we all pull together we can achieve something great for an amazing cause!
