It’s already a month into the new year and for many of us those new year’s resolutions are starting to fall by the wayside.
Are you and your colleagues feeling less keen on those gym visits, forgetting to drink your green juice and struggling to keep up those good intentions? If so, then you’re definitely not the only one; we’re already reaching for the cake in the Jeremiah’s Journey office! Fortunately, it is only 12 weeks until the Plymouth Half Marathon, so there is a great motivation to work on improving your fitness levels.
The Plymouth Half Marathon Company Challenge is a great way to inspire and motivate a workplace. It can encourage employees to be active and take part in one of Plymouth’s largest community events.
Last year, both Elm Veterinary Group and the Treasury Bar entered teams into the Plymouth Half Marathon. They raised a fantastic amount for Jeremiah’s Journey and enjoyed the challenge of becoming fitter.
If you would like to sign up to the Plymouth Half Marathon Company Challenge then you can do so here. It costs just £34 each and you will need a minimum of 4 participants.
The winning team will be comprised of the top 4 fastest finishers within a mixed team. A donation of £250 will be awarded to the winning company to be given to a charity of their choice. They’ll also have the bonus of being named as the Plymouth Half Marathon Company Challenge Winners 2016.
