We really do rely on the wider community to support us through organising their own events, without them we wouldn’t be able to continue the work we do.
Why not organise your own fundraising event?
Giving up a little of your time could raise some vital funds for Jeremiah’s Journey as well as being extremely rewarding. It’s also a fantastic way to make new friends and get involved in the community.
We are not asking for you to run marathons, donate huge sums of money or give up hours and hours of your free time. Anything and everything you can do will make a difference.
For more event ideas and suggestions please check out our A-Z of Fundraising Ideas, you can also read some of the great things people have been doing in our news stories, which may provide a little inspiration!
We would love to hear about your event, please do let us know regardless of how big or small. We have a selection of fundraising material such as leaflets and posters that may be of help so please give us a call and tell us all about your plans. Please get in touch by calling 01752 424348 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing about your plans!
“My son went through the Group Programme and this made me want to organise a party to raise funds and give something back to Jeremiah’s Journey. On the night we had a small speech from Joanne and we had loads of games to raise extra pennies. The whole event was in memory of my husband, Chris. Our night was called ‘Party with the stars’ as that’s how the children remember their dad. All guests entered into the spirit of the evening by wearing fancy dress as their film idols. It was a fantastic night and I wouldn’t hesitate to organise another event in the future.”
