The Horrabridge Rangers Sports Association have raised an incredible £1595 for Jeremiah’s Journey through their Football Tournament & Fun day in memory of Daniel Bruce.
On Saturday 11th July 12 teams from all leagues from the Devon Junior Minor competed in a Seven-a-side football tournament at Fillace park, in the hope of winning the Daniel Bruce Memorial Trophy.
The winners were AFC Plympton with the runners up being Chaddlewood Blues. Alongside the football tournament, was a delicious cake stall, a bouncy castle that was very kindly donated by the Horrabridge PTA, a crockery smash, candyfloss, a bbq, refreshments & a HUGE raffle with prizes donated by the local businesses.
It was an amazing day with lots of fun, good spirit & sunshine! The day went without a hitch and it was made lovely by the excitement of the children as they arrived for their football. A HUGE THANK YOU to family, friends, neighbours & all the parents of the Horrabridge Football Team who have helped & supported this fantastic day!
We’d like to say thank you to Sarah, Peter & Jerry, all the children who participated in the football tournament & everyone who helped & supported the event for raising an absolutely fantastic amount to help us continue our vital work within the local community!
