We would like to send our best wishes to Joanne Anning, who after almost 14 years service with the charity, has decided to stand down as Chief Executive at Jeremiah’s Journey to explore new professional development opportunities.
“We have come a long way since the early days when I started with the charity as an assistant psychologist with only two of us in a tiny office. I am immensely proud of what the staff and volunteer team have achieved and it has been a privilege to serve as the CEO for the past three years. The courage and strength of the children, young people and families we have supported has been inspiring and rewarding on a personal and professional level.
The profile and specialist service offer of Jeremiah’s Journey has gone from strength to strength. I embark on the next chapter of my career with many memories of significant experiences both in being creative with service development and in the name of fundraising. I have a strong network of JJ supporters who have become dear friends.”
The team would like to wish Joanne the very best of luck for the future. We will all miss your sparkly ways and your amazing lemon drizzle cake!
